Class Description: This course is designed as a high school level biology lab class, and will cover the classification system for life, detailed study of various kingdoms, function and chemistry of cells, microscope and dissection technique, genetics, and a critical study of evolutionary theory. While the teacher and the text are critical of evolution as a theory of origins, we will approach the issue in an objective manner, and while the teacher is a young earth creationist, all viewpoints based on logical evidenced-based reasoning will be respected in class.
