Class Description: Palabritas is an introduction to Spanish. We will be studying numbers, colors, alphabet, vocabulary, small phrases and additional information that helps your child to have basic knowledge about the language. We will be having interactive games, and fun activities that will help your child practice vocabulary and parts of speech.

Teacher Biography: Hello! I’m Nancy Bermeo, but you can call me Nancy Beeler. Originally from Ecuador, South America, Spanish is my first language, but I’ve had the pleasure of calling the United States home for the past 15 years. My husband and I have homeschooled our two daughters for 8 years, which has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I studied Educational Psychology back in Ecuador, and I’m passionate about teaching Spanish—it’s something I truly love. Sharing my culture with students is a big part of my teaching, and I enjoy connecting with them through both my own experiences and the rich histories of other Spanish-speaking countries. I’m excited to dive into the new school year and continue fostering a love for language and culture in my students!
