Class Description: The Art of Argument will teach students to recognize and identify 28 informal fallacies, how to reason with clarity, relevance and purpose at a time when he has a penchant for the why and how and sharpen their minds as they live, play, and grow in this highly commercial culture.
Grading guidelines: Participation 10% + Assignments 30% + Tests 60% = 100%
Teacher Biography: I have several years of experience in the classroom. I started my teaching career in a private Christian school, later taught in public school and eventually had the privilege of homeschooling my own children. My oldest recently graduated and I am currently still teaching my younger two. In addition, I have tutored a number of students through the years. It gives me great joy to work with students who are eager to learn and help them reach their goals!
