Class Description: Epsilon math introduces fractions and decimals, in a way that is easily understood.
This course uses the Math-U-See curriculum, Epsilon. Math-u-See incorporates visual and tactile learning, teaching the “Why” of math, so students build true understanding of concepts.
The student workbook is bundled with the test’s booklet, available at their website https://store.demmelearning.com/collections/epsilon.
⦁ You may purchase the fraction overlay kit if you choose. However, I will provide one for each student as part of the supplies fee.
Students will have weekly homework, with tests the following Monday.

⦁ Add/Subtract/Multiply/Divide fractions
⦁ Finding Common Denominators
⦁ Converting fractions mixed and improper
⦁ Order of Operations (aka PEMDAS)
⦁ Converting decimals and fractions
⦁ Plotting on lines
⦁ Calculating Circumference

Teacher Biography: Hello, I am Amie Savage. I’ve been married to my husband Dean for almost 18 years. I am a mother of 2 boys, Isaac and Conner. We have 2 dogs Stormtrooper (Stormy) and Chewbacca (Chewy). I have a Bachelor’s degree from Southern Nazarene and Master’s from Villanova University, GoNova! I truly love teaching having over 15 years teaching and writing training material.
