Class Description: Grounded Choir (Grades 3–9th)
Grounded Choir is a fun performance-based music class designed to develop students’ singing voices, musicianship, and confidence. Students in grades 3–9 build strong vocal technique while learning to work together as a unified ensemble.
Throughout the year, students explore a variety of musical styles while developing the skills needed to become independent singers

🎶 Students Will Learn:
Proper posture, breathing, and healthy vocal technique
Pitch matching and tone development
Singing in unison, partner songs, and two-part harmony
Music reading skills, including rhythm and basic notation
Performance etiquette and stage presence
Listening and blending within an ensemble

As students progress from 3rd to 9th grade, they expand their vocal range, strengthen music literacy skills, and take on more advanced harmony and leadership roles within the choir.
