Class Description: Who’s ready to be a detective? In this forensic science class we will discuss the methods used in forensic science that help solve crimes today. We will look at hair, finger print, and hand writing analysis, as well as foot print and tire track comparison. We will discuss early pioneers in the field as well as compare old forensic techniques to modern is used today.
Teacher Biography: Meredith Harber is an Oklahoma native whose passion is for science. She graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Criminal Justice. She went on to work at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and ARL Bio Pharma Labs as a lab technician. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. She is also an active member at the Mustang Church of Christ, where her husband preaches.
