Career Exploration

Fall Semester only

Textbook: Career Exploration by 7 Sisters Homeschool (pdf download, $18)

Materials: Just a notebook for note taking (a critical skill we will practice!)

Supply Fee: $25 per year

Length: 1 hour Class

Class Description: Career Exploration is a semester long course for both the teen who has zero plans for what to do after graduation as well as the student who has always known what’s next for them after high school. We will spend our time this semester building a clearer direction by exploring each student’s unique giftings, values and interests as well as their personal goals and resources. From no-college-required to PhD bound, we will discuss it all with a discerning approach that aims to seek God’s wisdom and enjoy exploring the exciting (and realistic!) options available to them as they point their ships toward whatever comes next.

If time allows, I will also be encouraging outside apprenticeships or job shadowing for juniors and seniors if they and their families are able.
