Class Description: God’s Design: Life is the name of the book from Masterbooks by Debbie & Richard Lawrence. God is the Creator and the Bible can be trusted. God is the Master Designer and we can see His work all around us! He created everything with a plan and purpose, there is order to our world. This class will concentrate on the “World of Plants” part. (A separate small book of only God’s Design: Life “World of Plants” can be purchased used, they were sold as individual books first.) Each week the student will have a reading assignment and questions to complete at home. In class we will discuss what we have read and go deeper with activities and more information. We will do things such as dissecting flowers and building models. We will have unit quizzes for which they can use their book. We will also do about 4 reports on plants that may require a trip to the library or at least to your yard.

Grades calculated as: 

Homework 30% + Quizzes 30% + Reports 40%

Any student 6th grade (or over) will have a few extra questions/assignments. 

I will try to make the grades not stressful and if our class is mainly younger I will make adjustments to make it fun and informative. I want us to learn so much more about our wonderful Creator as we look at His designs!
