Supply Fee: $10 per year
Length: 1 hour Class
Class Description: Varying between writing from facts and creative assignments, students will practice writing from an outline, use and cite multiple sources, retell narrative stories, create a thesis, and practice persuasive, comparison, and analysis essays, all while learning to write with style.
Additionally, I am assigning two books from the suggested literature found in the student binder and will have writing assignments based off of them.
Teacher Biography: I’m in my 15th year of homeschooling and as of May, 2026, have graduated two of my children from high school. I’m familiar with IEW’s Structure and Style through teaching it to my own children at home as well as in a classroom setting several times. This will be my second year teaching High School English and I’m so excited! I’m passionate about Literature and finding Goodness, Truth, and Beauty in stories.
