Class Description: Cold Cooking for kids is a class designed to teach kids how to prepare healthy, nutritious, and fun foods for themselves and their families. We will be utilizing cold methods only which greatly reduces the risks associated with independent meal preparation for kids. We will cover the basics of a healthy plate, knife safety, ingredient choices, flavor, texture, and presentation. Students will learn to prepare snacks, appetizers, main courses and desserts from scratch.
Picky Eaters: This class is all about trying new things, be sure to bring a healthy attitude about new experiences. You do not have to like it, just try it. I do ask that students be prepared to try all items made in the class unless of course they have food allergies.
Food Allergies Please discuss with Instructor PRIOR to enrollment.
Students with severe food allergies are NOT recommended for this class. If your student has food allergies, please contact the instructor prior to enrollment. Tie up your aprons and Let’s Get Cooking!
