Supply Fee: $50 per year ($25 per semester is fine, too)

Class Description: Your child does NOT need to have done World Geography I to do this class! It’s a two year rotation, and it can be done in any order.

We are going to be using Beautiful Feet curriculum’s Around the World with Picture Books Part 2 curriculum. From the website:

“Journey around the world in this course covering Europe and South America! In Europe you and your children will travel through France, Spain, Italy, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, and Great Britain. In South America: Ecuador, Chile, Peru, and Brazil. Along with award-winning literature, this course includes nature study, folktales, fables, art, and history.”

Through the year we will be reading various picture books, watching videos, and doing fun crafts! We will be creating a notebook with all the countries we learn about which will hold the maps and flags (and occasionally other bits) for each country.

Teacher Biography: My name is Robin Imse and I’ve homeschooled our four kiddos for about the last 20 years, and now I’m looking at graduating my 2nd! While my educational background is more art focused, I love history and literature, too. I spend my little spare time reading a WIDE variety of books as well as sewing and embroidery. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, but the Lord moved our family to Oklahoma a handful of years ago and we are so thankful to be here!

Teacher Biography: Hi, I’m Tracy. Our family recently retired from the U.S. Army, and over the years we have had the opportunity to live in several different places around the world. We spent two years living in South Korea and six years in Germany, experiences that deepened my appreciation for learning about cultures. I enjoy cooking, gardening, spending time with my husband and our three daughters, camping, playing games, and watching movies.
