Class Description: Zeta extends the student’s concept of place value to the right of the decimal point. Students learn to complete core operations with decimals. The connection between fractions and decimals is presented.
We’ll be learning:
• Decimals and Percentages
• Exponents
• Expanded Notation
• Metric System
• Probability, Mean/Median/Mode
• Points on a graph
• Planes, Symbols and Angles
Being that we are only together 1 day, there is no time for us to use the test book. However, it often comes with the student book. Feel free to use the test book and I can grade completed tests with my teacher book.

Teacher Biography: I am a second year teacher here at Grounded. In addition to this math course, I also teach the Epsilon course which is a level below this one and American History 2 for middle/high school students.
My husband Dean and I have 2 boys, that we homeschool. We love to travel the US and explore historical sites as well as hiking and camping.
I am a graduate of SNU with a BS in Organizational Leadership as well as hold a Masters of Science from Villanova. I worked over 15 years in the private sector training employees and writing training material. I love teaching and look forward to the upcoming school year.
